Another day, another new destination. This flight was from Quito to Baltra in the Galapagos, with a stop in Guyaquil.

| View of a deep river gorge from the bus to the airport. |
| We were NOT impressed with Avianca. Anything on board, including water, had a price and it looked like they'd borrowed their pricing for US airlines. Note that the currency is in $US, which Ecuador adapted in 2000. |
| $3.00 for INSTANT coffee. Nope. |
| Landing. |
Very late lunch- from the airport you take a bus to a ferry to our private bus. Restaurant was open-air, surrounded by land with a lot of giant tortoises and interesting birds. A yellow land iguana blocked part of the path as we walked from the plane to the terminal!
We had some time to explore the wildlife preserve after lunch.
| Dinner in a pedestrian secion of Port Ayora. Great lobster tail! |
